Available Models

Sedan is available in four different models - Altima 2.5
Sedan, 2.5 S Sedan, 2.5 SL Sedan, and 3.5 SE Sedan.
Interior Features
A spacious and accommodating interior of the
base model is appointed with standards such as power windows,
power door locks, rear center armrest with cupholders, tilt
steering wheel, front cupholders, covered CD storage, and
an AM/FM stereo with CD player and six speakers. The seating
is upholstered in velour cloth.
Subsequent models upgrade the audio system, add either
eight-way manual or power driver's seats depending on the
model, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and leather
on the highest model.
Exterior Features
Each four-door classy Nissan Altima 2.5 and 2.5
S Sedan features sixteen-inch steel wheels with wheel covers
and single exhaust with dual tips. All three top models
sport color-keyed dual power outside mirrors and optional
power sliding glass sunroof with tilt feature.
Performance
Under the hood of the front-wheel drive Nissan
Altima 2.5, 2.5 S, and 2.5 SL sedans is a 2.5-litre, DOHC,
16-valve, four-cylinder engine that cranks out an impressive
175 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Among its specifications
are double platinum-tipped spark plugs, continuously variable
valve timing control, variable intake manifold, and variable
capacity exhaust system. The standard transmission is five-speed
manual, with optional electronic four-speed automatic.
The Altima 3.5 SE Sedan speeds along with tremendous power
due to a 3.5-litre, DOHC, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine
that blasts out 240 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.
It is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension for excellent
precision handling. Traction control is available as an
option.
Safety and Security
With leading-edge safety standards, the Nissan
Altima Sedan not only provides a luxurious ride and excellent
performance, but will lend peace of mind as well. Each vehicle
is equipped with a dual-stage driver air bag, and a dual-stage
passenger air bag. The top three models feature side impact
air bags and side curtain air bags as options. The cabin
is equipped with three-point seatbelts, child safety locks,
and child seat tethers and anchors. The overall design includes
front and rear crumple zones, side impact door beams, and
hood buckling creases. The Altima 3.5 SE Sedan is equipped
with front fog lights as a standard for optimum visibility
in inclement weather.
