The workhorse of Ford's truck lineup the 2009 Ford Super
Duty is looking as tough and capable as always and should
prove to be popular in the heavy-duty work truck segment.
Available Models
There are a lot of models to choose from the F-250, F-350
and F-450 are available in XL, XLT, FX4, Lariat and King
Ranch models. Special package models are the F-250 / F-350
Ford Harley-Davidson and the Super Duty Cabela's Package.
Interior Features
The interior of the Super Duty can hold and combination
of 2, 3, 5 or 6 people depending on which seats and cab
are chosen. Cab choices include the regular cab which holds
2 or 3 - the SuperCab and Crew cab can hold 5 or 6.
"Smart" technologies are available in all series
and include SIRIUS Travel Link, SYNC and Ford Work
Solutions which features and in-dash computer that provides
high-speed internet.
Exterior Features
The exterior of the Ford Super Duty really conveys its strengths
- from its powerful, tough stance and commanding front grille
there is no doubt this is a truck that can get it done.
The cargo bed is available in 6.75' and 8' lengths. A Tough
Bed spray-in liner is also available.
Performance
There are three engines available - a 5.4L Triton V8 that
produces 200 hp and 265 lb.ft. of torque; a 6.8L Triton
V10 that cranks out 362 hp and 457 lb.-ft. of torque and
a 6.4L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel with 350 hp and 650
lb.ft. of torque.
Available transmissions are - a 6-speed manual overdrive
or a 5-speed automatic overdrive.

Safety features include - driver and passenger air bags,
anti-lock brakes and much more.
